Neck Lift Surgery

A neck lift is typically done as part of a facelift but can be performed alone. This helps correct the sagging lose skin in the neck and can help with fullness in the chin. Sometimes liposuction is necessary but all this is determined by your surgeon at the time of your visit. The surgery take about two and half hours and you go home the same day.

What to expect after the surgery: During the first week after surgery you will experience discomfort, numbness and discomfort. You will have to wear a facial garment to hold compression. For the first twenty-four to forty-eight hours you will be mostly be at bed rest. Sleeping in a elevated position can help with the swelling. For the first week you should plan on remaining at home. You can resume normal activities after four weeks.
